Jharkhand High Court Recruitment 2026 for Legal Assistant Posts

The Jharkhand High Court has released a notification for the recruitment of Legal Assistants on a contractual basis. The appointment will initially be for six months and can be extended up to two years based on performance and requirement. Law graduates or final-year law students are eligible to apply. Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly honorarium of Rs. 40,000. The application mode is offline, and the last date to apply is 02 February 2026.

1. Visit the official website https://jharkhandhighcourt.nic.in and download the prescribed application form.
2. Fill the form carefully using details exactly as per the Matriculation/10th certificate (name, date of birth, father’s name).
3. Attach self-attested copies of:
   • Law degree or proof of final-year enrollment
   • Age proof
   • Identity proof
   • Certificates of computer proficiency (if available)
4. Submit the completed application by either of the following methods:
   • By Hand: At the Office of the High Court Legal Services Committee, Jharkhand High Court, Dhurwa, Ranchi.
   • By Speed Post: To the same address mentioned above.
5. Ensure your application reaches the office on or before 02 February 2026.
6. Shortlisted candidates will be notified individually via email for the interview process.
